Quad Sensor for IR Device Power Tracking

  • Normally connected to the contact input on the IRXII
  • Gain and delay potentiometers for fine tuning
  • Quad Sensors feature 1.4m cable
  • Provides 4 products in 1 by sensing current (power), digital audio – analog audio – composite video, or “Y” component video

Quad Sensors are used in combination with the Vantage IRXII (InfraRed Emitter Station II to control InfraRed devices) and offer power status tracking of 3rd party equipment. Current - digital audio - analog audio - composite video, or “Y” component video status information is sent to the Vantage system as a contact state. The sensor recognizes and understands the power and audio or video signals and translates them into the 2 contact states : ON or OFF. This allows the Quad Sensor to monitor whether a device is completely ON or OFF. The Quad Sensor is normally connected to the contact inputs on the IRXII. However, it may be connected to other dry contact sources on a Vantage station (such as contact input stations or as an auxiliary input on the back of a keypad).
