From the outset, the client had a clear expectation of what they required for lighting, security, AV and access control. Having suffered a bad experience with another automation brand in the past they were clear that they wanted a simple and reliable system

The Vantage system controls all lights, blinds, heating, fire, entertainment and security systems. Lighting is automatically activated by motion sensors in common areas, stairwells and the master suite, light level is adjusted based on time of day.

The client enjoys entertaining and wanted a home capable of delivering the Wow factor in all aspects of design and performance.

All aspects of the home have been seamlessly integrated to provide an intuitive and simple home technology solution that enhances the client’s enjoyment of their house. Whether they’re relaxing with friends, watching a movie with the kids or hosting a charity function, the technology solution delivered by Vantage is the perfect balance of comfort, convenience, security and entertainment with simple and intuitive control.

The Vantage system controls all lights, blinds, heating, fire, entertainment and security systems. Lighting is automatically activated by motion sensors in common areas, stairwells and the master suite, light level is adjusted based on time of day. Entertainment and outdoor living are vital to the client. Weatherproof outlets allow a local DJ input at the gazebo. The tennis court lights are also controlled as part of this outdoor area.

For convenience and security Vantage is integrated with the alarm. Disarming the Alarm activates path lighting to the kitchen. Arming the alarm activates Away mode and turns off all lights and AV.

Project Benefits

“All On” Buttons activate outside lights for security purposes.
“Vacation” mode activates a preset mode to make the house appear occupied but shuts off all unnecessary lights, heating, fires and AV equipment.
The blinds raise and lower automatically at sunset/sunrise.
Arming the alarm activates the Away mode and turns off lights, heating, fires and AV.
Opening the gates, garage doors and front door activates Warm mode with outdoor and indoor path lighting thru to the kitchen and common areas.
