The ambitious upgrade of the 497 room luxury hotel began in May 2012, with the goal of enhancing the in-room experience of guests, upgrading both the aesthetic design and technology of the hotel, and enabling future energy savings. Hotel management selected Vantage to provide lighting and climate control, as well as a multi-language in-room guest room control interface for the high-end West Tower. The hotel remained operational during the entire renovation. The complete upgrade of the West Tower was completed on schedule in time for the opening of the 67th General Assembly of the United Nations on September 18, 2012.

The Swedish hotel group Pandox AB purchased the Brussels Hilton hotel - located on the stylish Boulevard de Waterloo in Brussels and renamed it ‘The Hotel, Brussels’. Work started immediately on renovating the facade and complete refurbishment of the rooms.

They had been provided with a specification from a dominant competitor. The Vantage specification needed to provide additional functionality to overcome this strong competition.

The Vantage system offers the ability to control all types of lighting technologies, while also providing simplified or complex control and integration. For example, in the lobby area the system was only required to offer automatic and automated control over the lighting, while in the new Gallery area lighting control, full AV integration and mechanical integration were required. Vantage gave the client the varying levels of control they needed without having to employ a separate control system. This really simplified things for the client, who only had a single system to operate..
